Hello everyone, happy to show you today this project of my second year at RUBIKA as a tech-art.
Together with my team "La coloc", formed by Hector Bloch, Aurelien Bonne, Adrien Azoulay and me Georges Durruty.
We had to create a playable game level using the knowledge acquired during the year (modeling, texturing, Uvs, programming, animation, sound design, level design, shaders/vfx, tooling etc.). We transport the player to a fictional world inspired by the 1970s, perched atop the skyscrapers of an original city. This world is marked by a strong musical presence, with buildings in the shape of instruments and a giant vinyl in the center of the city. The game features an African-American woman, dressed in 70s glam outfits, who uses parkour to navigate between skyscrapers, enlivening the city with music. The game's aesthetic is inspired by comic books, offering a unique and captivating visual experience.
I was responsible of the character of the game, VFXs, sound design and some environement buildings.
